FUN FACTS

  • Kristin has an undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Idaho, where she is an alumna of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

  • She was born into a military family and spent her early childhood in Tennessee, California and overseas before attending high school in Japan.

  • In September 2012, Armstrong's U.S. Olympic gold medal winning time trial bike was stolen while in transit between Germany and the USA.  Her bike sponsor Felt and component sponsor SRAM presented her with a replica replacement at the 2013 AMGEN Tour of California.  

  • Throughout her professional cycling career, she has worked in marketing and healthcare, and most recently founded a chain of health and lifestyle clubs - Pivot by KA - in the Treasure Valley of Idaho.

  • One of her favorite things to do outside of training is going camping with family and friends.
